My love for you may never die,
But my eyes will forever shed their tears.
You were the hardest goodbye,
And my heart will remain broken for many days, and many years.

I loved the bloody waves of your hair,
And your smile of shimmering, white pearls.
I loved the passion of your kiss, t'was like the fire's flare,
Burning as the summer's heat intertwining with your red curls.

I loved you til' the end of your time.
You were the moonlight that shined brighter than any of the stars.
You were the sweetness of sugar, and the bitterness of lime.
Your appearance was of beauty, I didn't mind your scars.

You weren't perfect, we all had our imperfections and flaws.
I loved you, I accepted your mistakes, your regrets, and your past.
We all have dirty paws,
We all make mistakes, have regrets, have a past, I will always love you, and that will forever last.
