I wouldn't say I was afraid of looking someone in the eyes
When they spoke with their words.


But if I looked them there, I would be able to see into there crying souls.


I would see there pain, and that was a disturbing feeling that I had.


For that reason, I never gazed upon anyone's eyes before I met you.


I always would stare blankly at their lips,
But you were the only person I never wanted to part eyes from.


Your eyes had drawn me to you.


Not because they were beautiful, though they really were the most beautiful set I've ever seen.


But because, I saw that your soul was broken and torn.


I wanted to feel your pain,
To try to get an understanding of where and who you are.


I didn't mind that your eyes were shredding me apart.


Until, I could no longer gaze upon them.


And now someone else has you.


The images of them are burned into a faint memory, I want them, but I don't have you.


You caught me,
You took my breath the moment our eyes met.


My heart breaks at the thought of him holding you.


But this is just a one sided love with only my tears falling.


And no one can see through my eyes, with my crying soul continually being broken and torn a part.
